There's nothing like waking up to this smoothie and a sun salutation to add a bright boost to your day, support your immune system and lift your spirits. Bursting with flavor and a pop of pomegranate, ruby red blood oranges and tart grapefruit will have you glistening from the inside out all day long! I love adding calendula petals and goji berries on top to deliver a sweet little healing treat.

Mantra: I am grateful for my health.

  • Yields: 1

1 cup coconut milk (choose a nut or seed milk of your choice)

2 tablespoons coconut yogurt (Homemade Coconut Yogurt)*

1/4 grapefruit, peeled and seeded

1/2 blood orange or orange, peeled and seeded

1 tablespoon pomegranate seeds

1 cup Rainbow chard, chopped

1 teaspoon Gogi berries

Loads of love

Directions

1Wash and prep all ingredients.

2 In a high-speed blender, blend all ingredients.

3Serve and enjoy with love!

Juicy tips: If you're new to adding healing herbs to your smoothies, start slow. I started purchasing herbs in bulk from my local Whole Foods Market. You can also purchase from Mountain Rose Herbs, just make sure it is a high quality, organic and a reputable brand.

I like to buy the fresh, ready-to-eat pomegranate seeds from Trader Joe's (use them quick, because they don't last long!)
