A couple hours after I have it, it’s become a scary movie in how bad my stomach hurts. This is how “popped rice “corn” was born. It’s super simple and takes just about the same amount of time to make as poppin’ some corn in the microwave. Click here for the recipe.

Whether you like thin, big, smushy or crisp fries, you can get the same texture but in a baked more nutrient dense fry! Spice it up by adding different spices such as garlic, taco seasoning, even Old Bay and make a fun dipping sauce. Full of flavor and crunch, pop these bright beauties right out of the oven for a healthier version of chips. Goes great with burgers, chili or your favorite sandwich. Click here for the recipe.

Swap Pop or Soda for Zevia:
I call it Pop; Chicago girl over here!)… sometimes you just want something other than water. But with pop comes harsh chemicals, preservatives, and SUGAR (aka an inflammatory bomb that goes off in the body). This is one of our favorite zero calorie pops that come in flavors from Dr. Zevia (aka Dr. Pepper) to Ginger Ale.  It uses Stevia, a natural sweetener made from a plant. It’s a perfect sweet treat. Check your local grocery stores or natural food stores for Zevia.
