Did you know choosing your thoughts is like picking out produce. If you pick a moldy orange, you can put it back and grab another one.
The same is true for thoughts.

Ever feel like you don’t have time for you or your self-care?
I hear it all the time from women and moms. They’re trying to balance their self-care, wellness and work and end up feeling like they don’t have time to squeeze in their own needs.
I get it! And I want to encourage you to look at self-care from a different lens.
Ever feel guilty for taking time for you or your self-care? Whether it’s eating, taking a bath, saying no to a friend or family member, reading alone…
Let’s face it - doing anything for yourself uninterrupted.
If so, you’re not alone. In fact, emotions of guilt are a pretty common feeling that bubbles up to the surface almost daily for women.
Imagine this. You get off a stressful Zoom work meeting and you’re hangry with your next meeting starting in 30 minutes. You know you have to eat something FAST.
The easiest thing to reach for is a bag of chips in your pantry which leaves you even more stressed, overwhelmed and guilty for your choice.
But what if that wasn’t the case?
With all the busyness of life… Do you ever feel disconnected from yourself or others?
Truth be told, living with my husband, dog and child in close quarters for the last 12 months, has had me feeling more disconnected than ever.
Something had to shift.
When was the last time you looked in the mirror and felt proud? I mean, really looked at your own eyes in the mirror, straight into your soul and truly forgave yourself or committed to show up for yourself.
Truth me be told - I feel like giving up a lot. It’s normal and human nature. But there’s strength in perseverance.
One of my all time favorite ways to start my morning is with a simple smoothie and an uplifting mantra or affirmation.
In today’s video, I’m walking you through 4 simple steps to make a nutritious and delicious smoothie that calms the nervous system and re-energizes you.
Plus, you’ll learn how the secret ingredient of lavender used in this smoothie makes a world of difference!
As we ease into a new “normal,” restaurants are opening up, school is back in session and gatherings are more frequent.
Just because life is getting busier doesn’t mean your life and planning for it needs to take a backseat.
If planning and self-care get put to the backburner, it leaves me feeling drained, depleted and super stuck!
You can plan for your health, happiness and life even when life gets busy. And planning starts now!
Imagine this a teen…
Your parents call you to the kitchen and say, “We need to ask you a question.”
Thoughts of fear and dread flood your mind. What if they know… what will they think? Who will I be?
You know your true self is trapped inside you and if you share who you really are…. the ultimate rejection might happen.
This is exactly what happened as Erika Allison stood in her parents kitchen in Houston, Texas back in the late 90’s.
At 8 years old, Punam started as a strong student and quickly went to being very mediocre… with a strong disbelief in education.
Where were her parents? Why didn’t they step in and say anything?
As a first generation Indian American, her parents didn't understand that in America, you can actually go and talk to the teachers and administrators unlike in India where teachers are so highly regarded and you don't disagree with them.
This is why Punam Saxena, a pioneer in bridging the gap between parents and teachers and today’s ETV guest, decided her mission in life was to change the trajectory of someone else's life so they didn’t have to go through what she went through.
