Juicy Tips & Why It's Fab:
- I'm a fan of using Cultures for Health Water Kefir Grains
- Use the grains (up to 7 times) to make another batch of kefir, or you can store them for use at a later time.
- Storing Kefir Grains: If you’d like to store kefir grains, rinse them well with water and place in a small Ball jar with about a half a cup of filtered water. Store in the refrigerator for several weeks or in the freezer for several months. When ready to use again, pull out from storage, defrost and drain grains to use in above directions.
- Additional tip: The best made kefir is the one made in your home. Store bought kefir is full of sugar that feed unnecessary bacteria and cancer growth (unless you get the sugar free kin.) Always be sure to check the backs of those nutrition facts and ingredients abels at the store to see what you’re really putting in your body.
